The Keeper of Fragments is an original sculptural artwork inspired by the understanding that our greatest strength is not found in perfection, but in our willingness to gather every fragment of ourselves and become whole again.

Entirely handcrafted in Bulgaria, thousands of individually placed mirrored glass fragments form a richly textured surface that continuously transforms with light. Rather than reflecting a single image, the artwork breaks every reflection into countless luminous fragments, gently reminding us that we come to know ourselves not only through introspection, but also through the reflections we receive from others. Every relationship, encounter and experience reveals another part of who we are.

Emerging from this field of reflections is a hand-carved dragon's head sculpted from natural green agate. A timeless symbol of wisdom, guardianship and inner strength, it represents the quiet force that remains present while every scattered fragment gradually finds its rightful place. It is the keeper of what was never truly lost—only waiting to be reunited.

Built through multiple handcrafted layers, the artwork possesses a distinctly multilayered presence. Light moves across the mirrored surface throughout the day, revealing new reflections, textures and subtle details with every change of perspective. The artwork never appears exactly the same twice, inviting continuous discovery.

The reverse continues the artistic experience with its own composition of mirrored glass set against a deep green background, allowing the piece to remain complete from every perspective rather than concealing an unfinished back.

Craftsmanship

Each The Keeper of Fragments begins with a solid pine panel before thousands of mirrored glass fragments are individually placed by hand to create a richly textured reflective surface. The dragon's head, carved from natural green agate, is then carefully integrated into the composition, becoming its sculptural centre.

Developed through numerous handcrafted layers, the artwork creates a multilayered and multidimensional visual experience that evolves with changing light, perspective and reflection.
