The Unseen Self

A one-of-a-kind symbolic mirror handcrafted as an exploration of reflection, presence and the hidden layers of the self.

The Unseen Self is an original work of collectible functional art, bringing together mirror, sculpture, natural stone and symbolic painting. Framed by hand-shaped copper and accompanied by two individually selected natural fluorite specimens, the piece is created as a complete artwork—finished and painted on both the front and the back.

At its center, the functional mirror holds the visible reflection. Around it, soft blush tones, luminous gold details, sculptural textures and an original hand-painted symbolic language create another layer—one that speaks to what exists beyond appearance.

The Unseen Self asks what remains unseen.

The handcrafted copper surround gives the composition structure, warmth and permanence, while the two natural fluorite specimens introduce their own unique crystalline formations and subtle variations in color. Selected individually and preserved in their natural form, no two stones can ever be identical.

Every element is shaped, positioned and finished entirely by hand—from the copper work and textured surface to the gold details, fluorite crystals and symbolic markings.

A Work of Art on Both Sides

Unlike a conventional mirror, The Unseen Self is fully finished on the reverse.

The back has been individually hand-painted as an extension of the artwork itself, carrying its own composition and visual language. Although it may remain unseen once the mirror is installed, it is treated with the same intention as the front.

The hidden side is not left unfinished.

Because what cannot be seen is still part of the whole.

This detail lies at the heart of The Unseen Self: the artwork continues beyond what is immediately visible, making the reverse not simply a back, but another private layer of the piece.

Craftsmanship

Each artwork begins with a premium solid laminated pine panel, chosen for its exceptional stability and longevity. Every layer—from the hand-shaped copper surround and natural fluorite crystals to the textured surface, symbolic details and gold finishes—is applied entirely by hand.

The reverse is also fully hand-painted and finished as an integral part of the artwork, making the piece complete even in the places that are not normally seen.

No molds, prints or reproductions are used. Every piece is created as a singular original and carries its own natural variations, making it impossible to duplicate.
